Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety is being trapped in the future. While depression is being trapped in the past.
Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety is being trapped in the future. While depression is being trapped in the past.
Figure out how you add value to those around you and then do more of it.
Her curves give me pause even today
And when my breath comes back to me it’s with her scent
As my lungs fill I life my head high, knowing she has chosen me
How could I have deserved she – is my reason for my greatest gifts
I’m but only her servant
Anticipating to fast her on my lips
Wanting to run my hands around her curves – give me pause even today

When someone is stepping up and taking the lead – let them – allow them to rise to the occasion.
Most times you’ll see them soar.
Because remember no title or degree is needed to lead.
What happens when you are the one being inspired by those you’ve been sent to inspire?
Will you allow yourself to be taught and/or led? When the student surpasses his/her master what does that mean?
Perhaps the master is not you nor me. The are we the students?
Maybe the moments that present themselves to us is the master. And our reaction to them is the key.
Give them the strength to believe in themselves
To understanding that failure is just part of the process and failing successfully is an art
Let them climb as high as they can because they can
Harder still let them fall, scrape their knees, get up and give it another go
Go further for them
Believe in them
Show them there are no limits to your love and what they will do
Let them believe
That they can and they will
You have no idea
Flowing like the Niagara falls
I’m Houdini
Making miracles happen
Unlocking the handcuffs
Removing the constraints
Underwater
I breathe
Deeply
Understanding
That you with them
Make me
We are one
Breath
Inhaled on top on Mt. Everest or Kilimanjaro
We’ll take the next steps, together
Rising from the bottom to the top
Pulling one another up
Taking a breath
Seeing all that’s before us
Some we’ve had to leave behind
Our mind made up
That’s where we’re going
Rising now
Always on the way up
The more you complain the less work you do. Start working towards the world you want to see like Ghandi asked.
Because your destiny nor legacy is determined by policy, inheritance, or entitlements. Those three things took someone, before you, to put in work – same as those rights you claim as your own.
Here is the catch: if you aren’t willing to do the real work it takes to get “what you deserve” then no sense in complaining.
It’s really up to you to do and get what you want.
No politician, political party, church, teacher, or family member is going to do “it” for you.
You make the choices and have the responsibity to create something worthwhile.
