For too long

Been in a cocoon

Alone with myself

Sitting beside my self

Time to choose myself

Stepping out of my safe haven

Doing it for the children

My playing small

Serves no one

Least of all me

Spreading my wings

Ready to soar

Reaching new heights

So they can set upon new sights
